Objective: This unit is designed to enable students to acquire knowledge on concepts and principles of valuation for real estate investment, and to gain knowledge on the appropriate methods of valuation to evaluate an investment. Learning Outcomes: On completion of the unit, the student will be able to: Explain the principles of investment valuation. Describe property investment process and characteristics. Apply the property investment return using various methods. Evaluate the case study in investment context.
